Harold Oxley was born in Leeds, England. At some point, he relocated to America in order to attend the University of Chicago under one of his icons, Professor Abner Ravenwood. It was through this that Oxley first met and became close friends with fellow student Indiana Jones, as well as Ravenwood’s young daughter Marion.
Oxley was once described by Indiana Jones as brilliant, but prone to long-winded speeches that could “put you to sleep.” He was a happy, optimistic man with a great sense of respect and awe for the past, and was especially interested in crystal skulls. Harold, however, was rather naïve as well, and would often misunderstand sarcastic statements or jokes.
Ox was also a strong proponent of the theory of multiple parallel universes
